David Bowman helps manage diversity consulting, independent investigations, and workplace training programs for firm clients. As director of Morgan Lewis Resources Workplace Training, David leverages his experience as a former human resources professional and a labor and employment litigator to bring a unique and valuable perspective to clients’ daily challenges related to workplace diversity, sexual harassment, discrimination, and ethics. His nontraditional legal practice provides world-class services to many of the largest companies in the world. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts only.
International in scope, David’s interactive training and consulting services are available globally via in-person training, webcast, and e-learning. Clients include public and private employers from almost every industry.
In his labor and employment practice, David has represented clients in a variety of legal proceedings including trials, dispositive motions, hearings, preliminary injunctions, and disposition. He also has represented employers in employment discrimination actions and wrongful discharge cases in US federal and state courts, and before government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, where he serves on the faculty of the training certification program. Clients often seek his counsel on issues relating to training, workplace training, and workplace investigations.
David’s background in labor and employment began well before he started practicing law, and includes working in human resources for Pepsi-Cola Co., where he supported approximately 1,700 union and nonunion employees.
